I was always awestruck at the power I experienced with Fred. He introduced me to the idea of planetary energies that are now coming to fruition for me. I recently experienced earth energy, for the first time. I was not even in the woods at the time, I was staring at the forest through a window when it seemed as if, bear with me, I bi-located (the only way I know how to describe it). It was the most sacred experience of my life. I simply wanted to fall on my knees in total adoration when I realized the love and power that our planet actually is. I started to cry then and I am crying as I write this. The experience was so powerful. I remember in 1987, building a medicine wheel with Sun Bear and his group. He held his arms up toward the high pines and said, "This is our cathedral." I remember him asking me afterward if the experience had been real for me and told him, not quite yet. I understood what he was asking. Well, Sun Bear, wherever your spirit resides, I get it. Although on an intellectual level, I knew it was wrong to harm the planet and ourselves along with it, my new understanding filled me with great sadness and determination to make a difference. We matter, the Earth matters, it all matters. God, this truth must be so real for me, I am just crying and crying as I write this. Becoming new again is an unfolding process and my own development is just as much a surprise to me as anyone else. I am at a point where I am working on balance in my self and my life. Ken Eagle Feather states over and over again in Traveling With Power, that development of balance in his life was first, the most important work he had to do in order to carry out any other "spiritual' endeavors. Interesting, just last night I pulled out Jose Arguelles book, Mandalas, to look for a design to paint. I had no idea that he had passed. I run a small group of Lightworkers who have been focusing on healing our beloved Gaia and all her inhabitants for the past 5 years. As I write this now the lovely Blossoom cat is curled up next to me and the failthul old Tom the Lab snoozes too. I was overcome when you mentioned about dogs having seizures as Tom had two seizures recently and I now realise that one was before Christchurch and the other Japan. I am feeling ill at ease myself but know that it is all for the good and feel very positive about the future. EVERYTHING has changed in my life over the past year and I thank you and Andrew for your words which I will be reading out to our group next time we meet, they have encouraged me to keep on track with the job at hand.
